Vacation Rental Story Ideas
Tens of thousands of vacation rental properties strong, the Vacation Rental Managers Association has implemented the first initiative of its kind dedicated to generating awareness of North America’s fastest-growing lodging category. Whether planning a trip for two or 20, Discover Vacation Homes serves as a credible resource for travelers seeking information on professionally managed vacation rentals.
Year over year, trips taken with children, extended family and friends represent one of the only consistently rising types of leisure travel. What’s more, approximately three in ten leisure travelers are now grandparents, and nearly one-third have traveled with their grandchildren on one or more leisure trips during the past 12 months. As this “togethering” trend increases in popularity, travelers are selecting vacation rental homes for convenient multi-bedroom accommodations, as well as a sense of comfort under one roof. While staying in a rental of any size, guests will not only save in their overall lodging costs, but they can choose to cook meals, bring home leftovers or store snacks, making it especially easy to stay on multiple diet regimens.
As the habits and preferences of travelers change, the vacation rental category has adapted, as well, to best meet their trip needs. Professional vacation rental managers across North America are now offering services that allow guests to experience the benefits of traditional hotel stays, coupled with additional amenities, living space and, often, an unmatched value. For example, many guests find familiarities – Things like bath toiletries, pre-stocked refrigerators, fresh linens, wedding planners, personal concierges or even options for childcare. Additional amenities might include free bicycles, private swimming pools, an in-home movie theatre with free DVD rentals, or perhaps access to a fitness center with an indoor water park.
